Two elementary schools, one located west of US 19 and one in the school complex on the east of the town, operate here. The High School and Middle School are also located in the educational complex, and in the far east, down Hudson Ave. until it ends, is Bishop McLaughlin.

"Well, in the old days at HHS our top rival was Gulf High, in New Port Richey, 'cause that was the only other school around. Hudson was quite a bit different back then. Its changed a lot. It used to be that most of the whole town would go to the games and stomp while the high school band played 'Dixie.'  Then again, when we played away, we'd all trek down to Gulf, or, when it was built, Land o Lakes.  Then again, nowadays not everyone in the town would fit in the bleachers."
