Day Trips from Trinity

For a trip that takes you to an interesting place in the morning, lets you explore it during the day and be home in time for dinner, remember that around this area are a constellation of small cities with old, quaint downtowns. From the north, there is Weeki Wachee and its Springs, then Brooksville, Dade City, Zephyrhills, New Port Richey and Tarpon Springs. All are less than an hour away. Visit the old atmosphere of their early 20th Century architecture, when Florida was just beginning to be explored and settled by the White man. Get a glimple of small town Americana today!

Pioneer Florida Museum - Located off of U.S. 301 in Dade City. Features one-room schoolhouse, home and church, a railroad depot, a 1921 fire engine, early farm machines and a collection of dolls depicting Florida First Ladies in their inaugural gowns.
